Trailer Park: Clash of the Titans (2010)

Really excited about this but I don't know how valid this video will be. Apparently it's being taken down all across the net, so get to watching while the getting's good.

While I'm not necessarily always for remakes, I think that enough people HAVEN'T seen the original that a remake might not be a bad thing. Cause the old movies kicks ass, but could use a face lift.

Mid-Review: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

As a fair warning, this will not be a review in the conventional sense. I am over half way through the campaign and have played maybe 10 multiplayer matches in the ONE day that I have got to play it. But let me tell you, this game is astonishing. Amazing! Absolutely jaw-droppingly, good. It has over taken Brutal Legend as my favorite game to come out this year. And I kind of expected it to.

I mean, whats not to like about it. Cool story, amazing visuals, tight gameplay, and opportunity for endless hours of multiplayer with friends make for THE one stop entertainment experience to come out this year.

There may be a better game out there that was released, or will be released, this year, but I'll never know, cause I'm to busy playing Modern Warfare 2!

If you wanna play multiplayer with me, my Xbox Live gamertag is Dankyn.

The reason for no new news.

I just wanted to let everyone know I haven't abandoned you all yet. I was out of town all weekend and sick to boot. But we'll be back up and running this week to offer the finest in entertainment! YAY!

Disappointments at the Box - 11/2

So, it may be a few days late, but that's cause I was so sickened by what people went to watch last weekend. I literally needed a few days to recover. And no this has nothing to do with my dislike of Micheal Jackson, and more to do with this countries obsession with a dead man who hasn't been culturally relevant for 20 years.

Here we go:

1. This Is It - $23.2M - See comment above.

2. Paranormal Activity - $16.4M - Really? That many people still wanted to watch The Blair Which Knock-Off!

3. Law Abiding Citizen - $7.4M - At least on good film is getting some recognition.

4. Couple Retreat - $6.46M - I still got nothing

5. Where the Wild Things Are - $5.93M - Make that 2 good films. And look for my review to be posted in the next few days.

6. Saw VI - $5.27M - Stick a fork in her. She's done.

7. Astro Boy- $3.46M - The machine guns in the butt quote just completely turned me off of this one, even though it has a decent cast.

8. The Stepfather - $3.21M

9. The Vampire's Assistant - $3.1M - This movie didn't nearly make enough. Here's hoping it did better internationally.

10. Amelia - $3.03M - A mediocre looking movie pulls in low number. Might have needed a little more advertising.

So there you are. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go lie down again. I feel a touch of the disappointments coming back.

News: The Mortal Instruments Film

This one goes out to my wife because, if I hadn't seen her reading these books, I never would have known what this film is.

Following in the grand tradition of mediocre book adaptations like Twilight, Eregon, Inkheart, The Seeker, The Golden Compass, and yes even Harry Potter (the last two because they don't do the books justice), comes The Mortal Instruments.

This, currently, three book series has been picked up as the next big teen book-to-film project. Also the three books will be condensed into 1 movie, like The Vampire's Assistant before it.

Here's hoping it doesn't suck.

Trailer Park: Prince of Persia

The Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time trailer hit the net early this week, and it looked pretty good. Now the international trailer is online as well. And it also looks pretty sweet. This is pretty much the spiritual film franchise successor to the Pirates movies, and I think this looks really promising (Better then Pirates 3 anyway)

Check out the international trailer below:

See? Looks pretty good, right.
